Kentucky Business Meeting Private Jet Charter

Kentucky Jet Charter arranges business travel for companies in Louisville, Lexington and Northern Kentucky, and for visitors flying in to meet them. Many of these travelers work in health care, consumer brands, spirits, manufacturing or logistics, and they usually call because the meeting time is fixed and the airline schedule does not fit around it.

Several cities in one day

A charter departs on your team’s schedule, and it can visit two or three cities in a single day with everyone back in Kentucky that evening. That kind of day is very hard to build from airline schedules, and on board you can talk business without anyone overhearing.

Starting from the closest airport

In Louisville, you can leave from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport or from Bowman Field, which sits closer to the middle of the city. Teams near Lexington, Kentucky, can use Blue Grass Airport, Georgetown-Scott County or Capital City Airport in Frankfort. Northern Kentucky offices use Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International in Hebron, Kentucky. We look for the airports closest to your office and to the meeting, and the operator confirms each one for the aircraft and the date.

What to send us

Send us the route, the dates, how many people are going, and anything on the schedule that cannot move, such as a 9 a.m. board meeting or a client dinner. We will build the day around those times. If you send the meeting address, we can look for the airport closest to it.

Busy weeks and regular routes

Louisville is at its busiest in the days before the Kentucky Oaks on Friday, April 30th, 2027, and the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 1st, 2027. The FAA manages arrivals into the Louisville airports that week, so if a meeting falls then, book as early as you can. Lexington gets busy in the same way during the Keeneland meets in April and October and the Keeneland horse sales in January, September and November.

Companies with regular routes should mention them early, so we can plan for the pattern from the first booking. For larger company trips, see our page on corporate retreat flights.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Kentucky-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Kentucky’s busiest weeks follow the racing calendar. The Kentucky Oaks and Derby fill Louisville on the first weekend of May, and Keeneland’s spring and fall meets and its horse sales bring owners and buyers into Lexington, so those dates book first, and the FAA manages arrivals into the Louisville airports during Derby week. The rest of the year, flights leave the state for business, for Florida in the winter and for family vacations. Most Louisville trips use Louisville Muhammad Ali International or Bowman Field, Blue Grass Airport in Lexington sits across the road from Keeneland, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International in Hebron serves the north of the state, and Bowling Green, Owensboro and Paducah cover the south and west. Ice and snow in the winter and strong spring thunderstorms are the weather we watch most often.
